HEY KITSCH KITTY
The ethos behind Hey Kitsch Kitty was designing + creating cute, colourful clothing & accessories for people that love standing out from the crowd. I was born and raised in Chichester where I completed a BA Hons in Fine Art - focusing mainly on textiles - and I have been living + working in and around Brighton ever since
My biggest creative inspiration is and always has been colour. Mixing as many bold colours together in one place brings me a lot of joy. I love collections or multiples of items together because I am a collector. I’ve always collected things. I love it when things are a bit busy and cluttered
The pieces I created within Hey Kitsch Kitty really reflected this as I mixed sheer organzas with sparkly lamé with tiny pom-poms and mini troll toys and neon and iridescent PVC with sequins + gems…
Dressing up is a bit of a passion for me and Hey Kitsch Kitty was really a reflection of the things I loved to wear at festivals and raves whilst I was running it
Once I became Head of Production and joined Cecily as a co-owner of The Emperor’s Old Clothes in 2020 I didn’t have the time to give to Hey Kitsch Kitty anymore, so I made the decision to wind it down
As I now give my full attention to Tiers of Joy + my new venture Whimsy + Wild this is your opportunity to get your hands on end-of-line Hey Kitsch Kitty pieces… once they’re gone, they’re gone so grab them whilst you can!
